Events in October

We are excited at Bethesda Worship Center about all the things that are happening. Keep an eye on this blog for constant updates of upcoming events and happenings.

• October 10 - Communion Sunday in the AM service
• Beginning October 13, on Wednesday evenings, we will be looking at the Gifts of the Spirit/Fruit of the Spirit and the relation of 1 Corinthians 12, 13 and 14. Lots to see, lots to learn. Join us!
• October 31 - 6-7pm Trunks of Treats for the kids. This replaces our evening service.

Not many people will be scholars when it comes to the Word of God. But all people can be students of the Word. I encourage all of you to be students. Paul tells Timothy to "study to show yourself approved unto God." And Peter tells us to "be ready always to give an answer to anyone who asks us concerning the hope that we have." If we don't know, if we can't articulate, then we lose opportunities. There is a thrill in opportunities that is not experienced any other way. We take the opportunity, and we trust God to fill our mouths when we open them wide for him. He won't let us down, and I know you won't let him down either.
